So, you wanted your new kitchen cabinets to MATCH the others?

Here’s the scenario that happened to one of our customers. Imagine you had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. That leak dripped into your kitchen and caused damage to as section of the kitchen cabinets. You filed an insurance claim. The damaged cabinets may be covered… but there may be a condition. Some policies only cover the replacement of the damaged cabinets- not all the cabinets. If this is the case, may have to cross your fingers that you can find an exact match for the rest of your cabinets. What if they were a few years old and the manufacturer isn’t making them any more? What if they’ve discontinued that color or style? You may be out of luck and have to get “close”- but never an exact match.

Now, this isn’t true of all homeowner’s policies. Some policies offer premium packages that may replace the entire cabinets in this case so you get back to “whole”- a kitchen with matching cabinets- just like you started with before this chaos started.
